Two newest Rose Croix Chapters visited on consecutive occasions

It must be a rare occurrence indeed for meetings of two consecutively numbered Chapters to take place so close together, especially when the Chapters concerned are the two newest under the Supreme Council – but that is exactly what happened on 7th and 9th May 2016.

On Saturday 7th May, the District of Yorkshire, West Riding held their annual meeting at Hoyle Court in Baildon, hosted by the Prince Albert, Duke of York Chapter No.1209 which was consecrated in November 2014. An excellent demonstration of the Perfection Ceremony was performed by members of the Chapter, all of whom are Past Sovereigns.

Then, on Monday 9th May , the Chapel in the Fields Chapter No.1210 was consecrated at Ridgmont House in Horwich by the Sovereign Grand Commander, Most Puissant Brother Alan Englefield 33º and other members and officials of Supreme Council. Following the consecration, the Sovereign Grand Commander enthroned the Most Wise Sovereign Designate, Ill. Bro Arthur Lee, 30º who then appointed and invested his officers.

The Chapter meetings were followed by excellent festive boards, catered by the respective venues, both of which are former private houses set in beautiful grounds, and are now used for Masonic and non-Masonic functions.
