David Dredge of Bury Chapter belatedly receives his 30th Degree

Having originally been invited to receive his 30th Degree in November 2015, along with John Green of Emmanuel Chapter, David Dredge was disappointed to realise that he was on holiday in Mexico on the appointed date, and therefore needed to apply for a deferral.

30 Degree Sash DetailHappily, the new date was not too far into the future and David made the trip to London on 9th February 2016, with close friend (and Bury Chapter Recorder) Garry Errock in support, to join 35 other Brethren at 10 Duke Street St. James’s where the members of Supreme Council conducted the enthralling ceremonial to their usual excellent standard, followed by the customary festivities at the Royal Overseas League.

Congratulations go to David on (finally) receiving his well-earned 30th degree, along with those from Hartley, Freeman, Stanley and Donald Maitland Davies Chapters in the District of South East Lancashire, who were accompanied by their IG, DR and many friends.
