Tonight, I witnessed one of the most impressive Rose Croix Enthronement ceremonies ever – dignified, sincere and incredibly accurate, with all the proper emphasis and intonation in the delivery which makes such a difference, when so much Masonic ritual these days is learnt and delivered ‘by rote’ as if the speaker is reading (and hasn’t bothered to understand) the text.
Congratulations to the new MWS, Alan Astin and well done to all concerned with tonight’s work, especially to E&P Bro. Edwin Hardman for such a splendid ceremony!
Social board was equally enjoyable, with a special mention for Ill. Bro. Brian Fawcett on his recent promotion to the 30th degree.
